I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This story sucks you into the troubled mind of Neve. Neve isn't your typical teenager she has lost her mother, her father has left to be with someone else, by doing this Neve is left with her wicked. Neve lives a lonely life keeping to herself, with no friends or family solitude has become her life.
On her eighteenth birthday her stepmother kicks her out, without actually knowing it this is where Neve's life could actually begin, where she can use self discovery to change her life and turn it around. After meeting the wonderfully strange Diner guys, Neve manages to bag herself a couch to sleep on, but how much will Neve gain? Will she manage to conquer her demons and overcome the view she holds of herself? Only Neve can change the course of her life, take control and remove those labels she has placed upon herself.

I feel there is only one issue with this book it leaves you wanting more. This is a beautifully written Novella Katherine has woven in such emotion into this story it literally hits your heart, she has also managed to place a lot of whit in this story which is mainly Neve's spunky attitude. I found each character developed very well, each one held a sence of mystery wich makes you want to know more. I loved each scene in the Diner these scenes I felt gave the book a little something special.

I would recommend this Book to all Y/A & N/A.

 Review of Ariel Rising. By A. J. Sparber.

Ari Worthington is your average young lady she has her life plan worked out with normal hopes and dreams. Aries life changes after an encounter with her Ex boyfriend, poor Luke ends up with more than he bargained for after an unsavoury argument in the woods. Arie is not only surprised with her strength but speed as well which leaves her mind whirling. All of this leads to one major thing, something that she cannot turn around from something where she wont be able to go back from, Davin.
Incredibly perfect Davin a bundle of witty perfection all in one package, But with Davin brings life changing earth shattering news.

A. J. Sparber brings us a unique view point on Angels. Between Hot perfect Aliens/Angels, a planet called Olympus, Romance, Tragedy, Adventure and War this Book has something for everyone.
Ariels Rising bought out mixed feelings in me, this is an unusual take on Alien/Angels. I felt this story was quite complex with many layers every chapter revealed something new in their history and what they are. There is a lot of information to take in so much so that it's hard to keep up with what everything and remember it.
I felt the characters a lough developed well and many different aspects to them, they came across to perfect for my liking they lacked emotion hence I didn't fully connect with them. I love it when you're reading and everything plays out in your mind almost like your personal movie and this just didn't do it for me. 
I fine the whole different take on Olympus fascinating this deviates away from everything we know of Olympus and puts its own swag on things.


Super Sexy, Smoking Hot.

Into the fire brings you a super hot, steamy read that keeps you mesmerized with its sexiness right through to the last page.

We have Ash Ex- Soldier in Afghanistan, Inked; Full of arrogant cockiness. This screams fast page turner! The characters are very well developed, you watch them grow, and in-turn falls with the difficulties that is everyday life. This superb story wrapt's you in its pages so much so that you feel all the emotions, tension, sadness; hope and love. 

I fully recommend this book as a 5 Cream Queen Stars.

I feel this is a very enjoyable read, you will find it packed with; action, and unsolved mysteries. I feel the story is steady, too fast paced, it was hard to place the book down for any length of time. The mystery aspect has great structure; I enjoyed heathers unraveling the horrors bit by bit, and solving Johnny's story. The character are well developed, and we're easy to connect with; they along with the story flowed wonderfully.

Overall, I found this a very well written story, you have; Action, mystery; murder, romance; sadness, and hope. What more could you desire from a book


DARK STAR


Dark Star; By Cassandra Webb.

Remember lives in a world of magic, she lives a quiet life with her mother; That is until Leon enters her life bringing forth a life of spying and deception. 

Cassandra Webb has a unique way of writing; I find her stories are recognizable. The story is a short novella, telling you a short story of a girl called; Remember. It’s a very quick read it roughly took me 45 minutes from start to finish. 

Dark Star, is a perfect read For Young Adult, and I would say even younger, children from 9 - 10 upwards would have no difficulty with this book. Cassandra Webb keeps everything clean and brings you into a Fantasy world of Magic. A heroin with a Destiny, Life Changing Missions! 

A short but fun read.

Superb Read! A Body Under A Wall! Murder Mystery.

A brilliant story of cat and mouse, with a killer who is not just smart, but always ten steps ahead!
You can enjoy the witty banter in this well-written story of Murder, Mystery; with a dash of romance.


Sycamore Gap is a genuinely brilliant story; Based on the intricate workings of Detective Chief Inspector Ryan's mind, And his case solving abilities. We see a whirlwind of emotions from DCI Ryan as he undergoes a complicated murder case, which in turn drags up old demons that Ryan has tried to put to rest. Ryan is an adorable character I, feel you can easily connect with him and all the characters of this book; They are all very well developed. Sycamore Gap is the first book I have read in this Genre and am superbly surprised I have enjoyed it so much! I will certainly be reading more from Author L.J. Ross in the future!

Short But Good Read!!



I received this book in exchange for an honest review direct from the Author.

First of all I would like to say Thank you Ivy Sinclair for giving me the chance to enter the world of Riley & Paige.

I nearly had a heart attack Half an Hour into this book! I had started it like 30 mins previously and suddenly my eyes went to the dreaded bottom right hand corner of my Kindle and I saw that is was 59% of the way through. My eye's slightly widened and I thought no how can this be!! Have I suddenly somehow skipped a huge part of the book so I scrolled back 2 - 3 pages to find no I was exactly where I should be! So I whipped my Mac out and came onto Good-Reads and tapped in "Protect Her" By Ivy Sinclair and PHHEEEWWWW!!! I found that this was just "Part #1 " and that there was a 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11!!! Thank Blimming god for that, because seriously this is a great start to a story, and i'm ploughing right onto part #2! Even though I have a whole handful of R2R's that are waiting patiently for me to start them! 

Loving the cover by the way! Definitely suits the book! 

I'm of now as I can't wait any longer to find out what happen's in part#2 as WOW I did not see coming who Christopher was gonna turn out to be!!

Steamy Hot Read.

Talk about Emotional Whiplash!

Actual Rating : 4.5 Stars

I'm kinda speechless at the moment, I have never read a book and at the end of it been unable to put a review together. 

I really enjoyed this book, however it lacked a tiny bit of something hence the 4.5 stars. It should have been a 5! I'm a huge fan of the way J.Kahele writes, I completely fell in love with the violet chain series, Book #1 just got me hook line and sinker.

This story literally starts where #book 1 ended, it was such a huge cliff hanger that I remember literally bouncing up and down just dyeing to know what happened, and i'm so pleased that this book started exactly where the last one had ended. This book is like a roller coaster of emotions and love, Chain and Violets story is great, I think I actually connect with it, as it's very similar to my own life. This has everything the up's and downs of a relationship the insecurities, the porky pies because you're thinking on the hoof and trying to keep up an image and expectations. I think this is why I enjoy these books so much is they are so real, all those emotions and feelings. One of the best thing about the way J.Kahele writes is that it has you cracking up with laughter, it's so fun and witty with laughable quotes and banter.

This is such an enjoyable series I fully recommend reading Book #1. And I am now waiting again to see what is going to happen in the Chain and Violet story in book#3

The Butterfly Code captivated me and all my attention from the very first page, this read is excellent. A fast paced and thrilling story that has you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

This is a master piece of a story it's not just exciting with an alluring romance but such an interesting story line. Sue manages to drag you upside down into a swirling whirlwind tunnel of flashing colours that is the Butterfly Code, Hot sexy Hunter a world of secrets hidden attractions, lies astounding strength and one girl who manages to find herself thrust into the middle of it all, genetic modification and so much more after one encounter out side the night club in her fathers home town.
She stand on the sidewalk staring into that ruggedly handsome face that screams hot sexy beast, Dr Cayman aka Hunter, and she knows there is something entirely different about him & this is where her life changes and she will never be the same again.

Hot Sexy Read! By A.M.Hargrove

SABIN A SEVEN NOVEL.

I want to say thank you for passing me your book and welcoming me to world of Sabin. I am now thanks to you in love with hot sexy Aliens! And am now a huge fan of steamy sci-fi books, you have given me a whole new genre of reading.

Now this is a hot hot hot read! I have to say when I started this book I wasn't expecting to be so captivated, the characters are so tight, this is a flawless well thought out and superbly written book, and I loved every second of it.

SABIN I fell in love with him immediately, he is such an interesting complex character. Hot sexy sure of himself alien with just enough insecurity's to make us go all mushy.
He is the commander of the seven. ( Now we're talking seven hot hot super sexy flawless aliens ) they have one thing they live for and that is to protect Judgement Day and the paradox ) But all that changes when Sabin and Serena are thrown together.

SERENA is a strong sassy character she is so loveable, But you wouldn't want to get on her wrong side! There are so many parts in this book where her sassiness and strong mindedness made me laugh! The chemistry between her and Sabin is wonderful, it's the kind we all long for in our own lives.

EDGE I adored he is someone we all want in our lives! That funny crazy boyish character that constantly puts a smile on our faces and makes us feel the world is a better place! He is such a happy go lucky character and his relationship between himself and Serena is just lovely.

RAFE is great and there was a scene in this book between him and Serena that just made me laugh out loud it was so funny.

This is such a brilliant read I fully recommend even if you're not an sci fi fan ( you soon will be! ) Just take the time to read it A.M.Hargrove doesn't disappoint.

Superb Read. A completely different take on Vampires!

The Wanderers! WOW! 

This is certainly a gripping book that has you on the edge of your seat just dyeing to know what is going to happen next.
I could not put this book down. However to begin with I was like ok... where is the wow factor??? Chapter one - two - three > I was like okay this is all right But! Then suddenly it wooed me! and i loved it...

This is not your normal vampire series. It's nice to have a different take on vampires. So no there is not really any love triangle, there is no girl meets boy, boy meets girl, girl is just normal, boy is vampire ruled by her potent blood and just has to know her! NO NO NO! This is something entirely different! A Must read!

I certainly don't want to give to much away so i'm going to keep it to a minimum.

Ella is an amazing character, she is so grown up for her age. But she still has a little naivety which I liked. She tries so hard to do the right thing. She for me is a loveable character. 

Tristen Well......... I Love Him!!! I'm married but boy would I love to play cowboys and indians with him!!! 
He is a hot sexy witty half-breed with enough sexy hotness to make us quiver!
He is a fab character with so much charisma and oomph, he makes you smile laugh and feel all hot and bothered.

Jack boy did I not see that coming! I was like WHAT!!! That was a pleasant /  unpleasant surprise! He is a great character although the story would not be the same without him.

Josie I loved her outgoing bubbly attitude, she makes you exasperated at her sudden silly antics, but smile at her witty attitude. She is fun and loveable.

O.M.G The ending you are going to need some tissues! What a cliff hanger. But i'm literally bouncing up and down in my seat to get me book mitts on the next book in the series.

100% recommend this book fantastic witty story with a lovely romance! Written very  well!

What lies within.

Here goes, I have rated 3 stars because I did like it but it didn't woo my socks off. I thought this book was written very well, a lough I did find a couple of spelling mistakes.

What lies within has been written very well, I liked the plot, I found that the characters okay. 

Shelly annoyed me I found for me she was a very selfish character that only really thought about herself instead of the people around her. She never thought about the consequences of her actions and how that would effect the people around her.

I loved winston he for me was a solid loveable character who brought love and stability to the book and I hope that if there is ever a book 2 winston will have a spot in that book.

This story is based on shelly who at the start was just your ordinary teenager at school with her one true Betsy Winston. She didn't really have any friends but Winston was her rock through out life. She suddenly receives a text from someone claiming she is in danger and that he is her brother, for shelly this is like freak out time She doesn't have a brother, she is an only child or so she thinks. I really don't want to give anything away and spoil it for someone else! So i'm going to stop but say there is plenty of heart pounding action as shelly uncovers her life and the mysteries behind her "Brother" and why they exist and the reasons behind her berth.

I actually like the motorcycle man! The assassin he really appealed to me it was just his little cocky gestures and I liked a scene near to the end of the book! 

I think I will actually read this book again! I think that my apprehension with this book is due to reading it straight after a few months of reading Romances, so for sure I will delve back into this book some time in the future.

This story I found was great, I really enjoyed this one. L. J.  Higgins manages to suck you in from the very first word. It shows the warped minds that revolve around money. You are deemed not right and an outsider if you are a dreamer! A dreamer is an individual that the wrist-chip and or wristcuff doesn't work on. That means you have your own dreams and they cannot implant wants and desires into your mind through controlled dreams.

This story is based on Mind manipulation, Organisations that have pulled recourses together to form the MMC ( Multi Mind Corporation ) they are organisations that after humans started wanting less and less, and were happy without constantly wanting more and spending, formed together and created the MMC, which were there to in a round about way control the minds of every one. by introducing the wristcuff, that implanted thoughts deep in your subconscious, to make you want more, desire more and be less happy with what you have.

The main character is Amelia I really liked her character, she was at the beginning a very lonely character that because of being a dreamer was very much an outsider, and felt out of place in the world she lived in, if it wasn't for her best friend Sarah she wouldn't have had any life at all. But through out the book she became a strong character. Knowing more of what she wanted and she started to think for herself. There was a bit of a love triangle thing going on in the book, Amelia had to choose between two lovely boys, which is a hard thing to do when you don't really know yourself! She struggled with knowing what she felt or wanted, but I'm glad to say she does choose and it all pans out ok in the end.

Joe was a great character, I adored his happy go lucky character, he made me smile quite often through the book.

Cameron was shamazing!! I really liked him, what a strong steady character.

This book was very well written and I fully recommend it.

Hot Fiery Read

Steady read, full of hot demons!




I received this book in exchange for an honest review. LOP.

This is what you call a steady paced book, it doesn't have you tearing through those pages as if your life depended on it! But it was good, with solid story line & fun adorable characters. I liked each and every one of the characters, I liked the magical & forever changing world of Dschinnanya. 

This story is based on the life of a Demon "Alexander" and a half Demon Sariel. 

Sariel didn't know demons exsisted, She has lived a lonely life under the care of her uncle Harold, after her parents died in an accident. She never new she was half Deamon, so naturally she struggles to deal with what is thrown at her, but she is a strong character that really comes out of herself when she needs to save Alexander. He who sold himself to the wolves ( Harold ) inorder to save sariel who was dieing from taking drugs during her transformation.

I liked the fact that there was a considerable amount of feelings between Alexander and sariel, but there was actually no romance, But i woud most certainly say they both love each other and there will be a budding romance in book 2. However i did have a little thing for that shape-shifter Tamiro, I would love to see more of him in book 2.

All in all a very enjoyable book and story line, great ending! And am definitely excitedly waiting for book 2

I am Ella

I Am Ella. Buy Me. By Joan Ellis




I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I found this book difficult to connect with, it took quite a while to get into it and at around 43% it clicked for me, I don't really know why as it's a great story line based in the 80s where sexism was tolerated and morals were limited! With the main character Ella who is the copywriter for a company called CBA. I found Ella a really strong character who quite frankly was Bad-Ass when you think about how she handles situations in the male environment of CBA.

She is laughed at & belittled, her ideas are stolen, she is treated with little to no respect at all. Ella spends a huge amount of her time dodging the slime ball of a man Peter Richards her Boss the Creative Director of CBA, When they have a little to much to drink one lunch time Ela returns to the office to re do her speech/letter pretending to be Marmalade from Kitty Rescue,

Having had enough alcohol to make her be outspoken she writes Marmalades letter then leaves it on her desk, this is then faxed through to Kitty Rescue and Ella is fired! But her boss has other ideas in order for Ella to keep her job he want's to come to a " little arrangement "! Amm well that doesn't sound to good does it? But does ella agree to fulfil his sexual needs in the office? Even worse does she see them through?? Well, you just going to have to wait and find out!! 



Peter was such a slime ball of a man I actually found him quite repulsive. Poor Ella!

I had two favourite characters. 'Wally & Adam' Wally was a very special character. I adored the relationship he had with Ella what a special man he was. Adam well he was just lovely and I'm so pleased with the ending of this book! Things are looking up for Ella! 

This reminds me of the boys at CBA!

Joan Ellis is an inspiring Author she writes with such sparkling wit and is incredibly funny.

Fun Halloween Read.!


I found this a perfect short  read for halloween, which is exactly what I purchased it for.
I sat in front of the fire on halloween night and read this in 35 minuets.
It's a great short read full of fun and witchy shenanigans.
Emily comes into her powers when she turns 16, naturally she creates magic and mayhem! She raises the dead with a spell to revive her step brother after an accident. She brings back peter her ghost who she couldn't see until she actually turned 16, but he had been there all her life silently watching her sitting in her bedroom most nights. Peter is such a cool character and I felt it very moving at the end where Emily has to reverse the spell to send all the Zombies back to their Graves, which in turn allows peter to move on to the other side. Emily's & Peters short connection was amusing and fun.
This book made me smile and laugh ( even at the end get a little emotional ) 
It totally live up to its title "Halloween Magic & Mayhem"
I will certainly be reading Stella Wilkinson's other Books.




A Thrilling read of immortals.

Emerge. By Melissa A. Craven.

Melissa A. Craven has seriously just joined the top of my list of favourite Authors! Such an impressive start to a series and definitely has me wanting more!
I loved this book it flowed really easily, a fast page turner that kept me engrossed from start to finish, a highly recommended top read! 

This book is based on Allie who spends most of her life alone and misunderstood, people shy away from her, but there is a reason people shy away from her and she has no idea why. After a Un expected move her life is tipped upside down, this is where the handsome mysterious Aiden appears in her life, he doesn't shy away from her like she is used to. She faces hard times uncertainty, fear, and will have a lot of challenges thrown at her. I will go no further as I don't want to ruin the book for you.!

Allies is such a strong amazing character, this is a brilliant thing about this book, Y/A needs more strong female characters. I love her witty attitude and huge personality. She has such sassiness, which for me suites a flaming redhead with startling green eyes.! 

Aiden for me is a great character he along with Allie are my favourite characters. I love the relationship between Allie and Aiden and I am hoping for new height with book 2. 

Every character in this book flowed beautifully I enjoyed every single one of them. Liam I just adored! I loved the way they developed with the book, and they were so realistic, each and every one had a significance with the book and made it what it was, I love how Melissa built each one of them into this thrilling story, there wasn't any small time characters ( maybe apart from vince.) the focus was on all of them not just Allie and Aiden.

The whole Immortal thing is just great you would think well they are immortal so they are going to be something like your typical Angels or Vampire, but no they are immortal beings, who live supposedly for Infinity. However there are ways for them to be killed! And this makes this book so exciting as you don't quite know what is going to happen to them. 

This is a fabulous story line a perfect read if you like Action, sassiness, Romance, suspense and hot sexy immortals that can kick ass...

Brilliant Read!

Autumn City Of Angels #1
By Kirby Howell.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I found this book completely addictive! I felt every ounce of sadness, sorrow, suspense, hope and love! And I love it when a book does that to you, it shows a truly brilliant Author, one that can captivate you and make you feel all those emotions and more!

I really don't want to give and of this book away it's such a good story, with amazing strong solid characters! Autumn is amazing and I love how she grows throughout the book she starts of as this little panicked thing that thinks she can't cope, every bump makes her jump,and she turns into this strong brave character that is whiling to take risks, and can cope in dire situations!

Grey is brilliant i think Kirby Howell did very well to pick our interest with him and then kept him out of the lime light, with just enough supernatural appearances that we new he was a something and there was going to be a thing where Autumn was concerned but non us knew what, and that keeps us turning those pages in the hope we are going to find out the truth about him and see what buds between Grey and Autumn.

But what a brilliant story line! An Apocalypse a Fever named the Crimson Fever that wipes out 99% of Humanity, the tension and survival of the two groups os survivors the good guys and the not such good guys! Then you have the added romance! So quit literally you have Apocalypse, with most of humanity gone, Action, Suspense, Rebuilding and Romance all crammed into a book that you finish far to quickly! 

I am 100% going onto book 2!! Can't wait to find out what happens after that bombshell Grey dropped on Autumn!

However I really do hope that somewhere in book 2 Grey and Autumn have the chance to work together and have a steamy Relationship!
